Office Manager
Marcia also grew up in the battery business. She moved to Vegas with her father in 1976 when she was a toddler, so she grew up in the battery world. She worked summers in the office. There were lots of family vacations combined with her Dad’s business meetings, growing up knowing all the corporate folks, the vendors, staff and families.
After going to college, she went into hospitality and human resources because culture matters so much to her. About 15 years into that career path she pursued her MBA. She has worked for some amazing companies in the past but is blessed to have been able to return to the family business. She jokes that she “Bleeds Green.”
The Leadership team at Interstate Batteries of America practiced saying her first name because it was that important to them that they get it right, regardless if she was an owner or not. That is a great example of how family centered our organization is from the top down. We have awesome summer picnics and pool parties with our team among many other team-building events to help ensure that the culture is embraced in our offices. Her largest accomplishments in life are her marriage to her beautiful wife and her MBA.
